Spills, leaks and condensation are all common threats to zinc top dining table and other furniture. Water stains are white, waxy looking marks that appear when your table is exposed to too much moisture and no amount of scrubbing seems to get rid of them. Before you consider refinishing a table or, even more dramatically, replacing all together, try a couple of quick, easy and cheap solutions using common household items to polish those unsightly water stains away.
Create a mixture using 1 tablespoon of wood or cigarette ash and enough olive oil to make a paste consistency similar teeth. Stir until well combined. Scoop some of the mixture of ash and oil directly to the water stain. Spread the mixture until evenly cover the stain for zinc top dining table. Let the mixture sit for two minutes. Buff the mixture into the stain with a clean cloth. Clean the pasta and check the stain.
Preheat iron-free medium or low steam. Place a clean, dry towel on top of the water stain for zinc top dining table. Place the iron on top of the towel and move back and forth for about 20-30 seconds. Check the area under the towel. If the stain persists, replace the towel and follow table until the stain disappears.
